Call the number that the project manager at the Ralph David House gave me to contact the dude in charge
Look through the LinkedIn connections of my contact that wants to introduce me to people in their network of my choosing
Dust off some old email convos
Use my GIS and Remote Sensing textbooks to better articulate those skills on my resume
Fill out ALL the jobs on the spready
What I Actually Executed
I got sidetracked by life stuff and following up with people that were responding to me. I rewrote my cover letter using better technical language. I had a really good call this morning about a potential job. I did plan to go to a networking brunch but I wanted to immediately fill out the job application for some jobs I was eyeing. Cooking up the cover letter took longer than I expected but I felt the writing spirit on me and I didn’t want to interrupt my flow.
Results/Updates
I felt accomplished! I didn't get to the list for today but responding to other replies rolling in ate up my time.
Reflection
I feel accomplished, but I am a bit disappointed with my lack of execution these past couple of days. I have been getting good news and kinda let my foot off the gas. Let me not be my own enemy of progress!!
