What I Actually Executed
I had a phone call with someone who I’m connected with at an engineering company to learn more about some of the roles they are hiring for. I’m also part of the U.S. Green Building Council planning committee and we had a meeting this morning for some events we are planning. I also followed up with a recruiter about a job I applied for at an electric vehicle company.
Results/Updates
Because I followed up with that recruiter I landed an interview for the ESG Data & Reporting Manager role!! I did also receive 3 rejections emails. Unfortunately one came from a job I JUST applied to at that very engineering company

Hey at least I got an answer quickly and I know to move on. I’m trying to keep seeing all this as exercises and press on like some cute press-on nails.
Reflection
Today was a combo of triumph and trials. I’m trying to stay the course and not get discouraged. I’m excited about the interview, but honestly those 3 rejections got to me. Let me just see this as practice. It’s only Day 10. Let me not knock myself out with discouragement. My job is to just execute on preparing and then moving on. Period!

Random side note: Lol idk if I should end “Period” with a period sign or an exclamation mark.
I’ll just let God handle the rest. I think my job hunting will be a Monday to Friday thing and I’ll chill on the weekends.
