Reflection
I’m learning to lean into the privileges of the one-way interview. Even though it’s not my ideal interview style, it gives me the opportunity to perfectly craft my answer and make sure NOTHINGGGGG is left out.
I feel like I killed it!! All the other interviews were practice that helped me ACE this. MANNNN I got my words out, added some razzle dazzle, and showed these folks that I KNOW what i’m talking about when it comes to decarbonization. I allowed myself to bring in my quirks and uniqueness and stand FIRM in it. My perspective and view of the world is valuable. I’m starting to see that and I’m in a place where I can communicate it well so that others can see it too.
The more interviews I do, the more confident I am. I think I’m in a space now where God is giving me these interviews to practice now and get ready for where I will be. I’m so excited that it’s ONLY day 44 and here we are! I’m not gonna go in front of God and try to push things. I’ve been burned before by doing that.
I’m gonna make sure that each week - even WHEN I get a job - I do either some volunteering or fun social thing to ignite my spark and keep my “why” in the industry.
