What I Actually Executed
Task 1 mostly - I prepped my mind for the interview using the interview prep workflow I created. I also went to the Oak Cottage Tour.
Results/Updates
It’s a Saturday so I didn’t expect too many hits back, but I got some LinkedIn responses. I try to keep my stuff Monday thru Friday only for my SECURE the job tasks, but I wanted to really get a head start on preparing for the interview video due on Tuesday.
Reflection
Going to the Oak Cottage Tour ignited a spark in me. It reaffirmed my WHY. I needed it. Plus it was nice to get some fresh air. I need a reason to take off my bonnet, put on some “outside clothes”, and look like a sensible member of society. Sometimes staying at home all day can have me looking like a gargoyle or a goblin living under a bridge.
I’m gonna allow myself to be excited for EVERY new development in this journey. I NEEEEEEED all the happy-joy energy I can get. Whether it’s an interview (even if I don’t get it) or a new person I find cool to reach out to (even if they don’t respond), I’m literally gonna search for reasons to find joy. I’m not gonna discount moments to be happy as delulu or not sensible. I meaaaaan wouldn’t I take time to enjoy sunshine despite knowing it would rain the next day? Abeg!! If God hands me a joyful moment, I’m taking it!
