More traction. Someone reached out to me about a scientist job.
Reflection
I cracked the job hunting code. Working smarter, not harder. Talking to people is the secret sauce. Job listings are just to tell me where I need to go to speak to someone. It is actually a waste of time and energy to apply to those listings. Folks I have been talking to say that the HR folks never see most of them because of the volume of applications. Let me not be my own enemy of progress.
I’m not losing hope because filling out job applications is a fruitless endeavor, I’m just putting my efforts into other avenues to getting a new job. Work smarter not harder. There are various avenues to getting a job. I’ve exhausted the simple one of just filling out applications. I need folks to SEEEEE me. This market is tough, but it’s NOT impossible. I finally cracked the code. PEOPLE!! Talk to people!
