What I Actually Executed
I got nothing accomplished here, but I got more LIFE stuff done today.
Results/Updates
A contact reached out to me letting me know she’s starting a sustainability data-type startup and asked if I was down. It sounds really dope. Dang, it be the days I take a break that I get the most interesting follow-ups. Maybe this is God’s way of giving me a sign to give myself permission to rest. All the seeds I’ve planted are growing into fruits I can harvest.
Reflection
Today I had a silent day. I feel like my brain has been overstimulated between podcasts, TV, YouTube vids, and scrolling on my phone, and even music. My brain needs a break.
I got up, dropped off my glass bottles and food scraps to CHARM, went to the High Museum (for FREE since I’m a member), and then came home and worked on the blog.
I feel full and accomplished. I didn’t miss anything important. I’m not leaving opportunities on the table. Heck! The fact that I’m STILLLL getting responses about lending my expertise to work done out here shows that what’s for me won’t miss me.
Abeg! Let me learn to sit down and REST.
I’m actually excited for what the next days will bring. Seeing what’s happening and how things are moving, I’m anticipating the days ahead instead of dreading. I’m seeing it now like my days in this journey are numbered!!
