What I Actually Executed
I got to Tasks 1 and 2 (even though making the video was a whole strug bus). For Task 3 I only got to 4 jobs. I mean that a lot but I feel like I could have done more… I’ve seen myself do more apps.
Results/Updates
I skedged some more calls for next week so that’s nice to look forward to.
Reflection
Honestly… I procrastinated on some applications I put on my spready and they are no longer accepting applications. I have the interview and know that more jobs are out there, but it stings a bit to know that there was no good reason for me to not get those in. Let me just carry on with the next ones. I think what is also bothering me is that this is showing me that I’m not keeping my personal commitments.
It’s ok, we got 10 fresh apps on the spready now. Let’s just commit to getting those in.
Also, I’m redoing my job app strategy. To streamline my job app process to where I don’t need to jump around with different resumes, I’m gonna focus my day's job app sessions on just one category of jobs at a time. One day: analytics jobs, the next day: GIS jobs, and the next: environmental jobs.
